Intern (f/m/d) Launch Operations Engineering

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as Intern (f/m/d) Launch Operations Engineer. Our Operations team is responsible for testing RFA’s engines, stages, launchers, and will ultimately conduct launch operations. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Your Tasks

• Support the operations team during preparation for RFA’s inaugural launch
• Support commissioning and maintenance of ground and flight hardware
• Support the operations team in organizational & logisticstasks

Your Qualifications

• Currently in Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Availability to travel to Shetlands islands or North Sweden for multiple weeks
• Experience with student rocketry projects, preferably including launch campaigns
• General knowledge of rocketry, fluidic and control systems
• (Optional) Experience with common CAD programs, preferably NX and KiCAD, Altium, or EPLAN
• (Optional) Experience with LabView and/or Beckhoff suite
• Strong practical skills and hands‑on focus
• Organized and independent way of working
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day‑to‑day activities are performed in English)
