Internship - Data Analytics & Machine Learning in Sales Excellence (d/f/m)

A basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment at the time of the internship. This position is available as soon as possible for a duration of 6 months.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of innovative AI use cases within Sales Excellence
• Collect, preprocess, and normalize large datasets to serve as the foundation for machine learning models
• Maintain and enhance our Sales Power BI dashboard to improve data visualization and accessibility
• Create insightful data analyses and visualizations that drive data-informed decision making
• Assist in automating data workflows to increase efficiency across sales processes
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders

Your Qualifications

• Studies in Data Science, (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Very good verbal and written skills in German as well as good skills in English
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, including dashboard creation and maintenance to communicate insights effectively
• Proficiency in data preprocessing skills such as data cleaning, feature engineering, handling missing values, and normalization
• Skills in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to automate data workflows and streamline processes
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, including supervised learning, classification algorithms, model evaluation, and validation techniques
• Familiarity with model deployment and automation concepts is a plus to facilitate integration into business processes
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style combined with a strong willingness to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
