In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, youu2019ll be right in the middle of the action: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our R&D team focusing on development of AI-based solutions for **advanced** **surgical** **planning** for navigation in **robot-assisted** orthopaedic surgery. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a cutting-edge solution for computer-assisted surgery that can have a significant impact on patient outcomes. **Your responsibilities** **:** Take an active, hands-on role in the development of **SW features** and solutions that directlyimpactpatient outcomes. Engage incomplex **problem-solving** tasks, systematicallyidentifychallenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions. Design, develop, and implement software components using **C++ on a Linux** platform. Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, biomedical specialists, and domain experts. Evaluate the performance of developed algorithms usingappropriate metrics. Document and present findings, designs, and results. **That makes you stand out:** You are currently enrolled in a master's program in computer science, biomedicalengineeringor a related field. Youdemonstratea strong interest in medical technology and healthcare software. Youpossesspractical experience with **C++ and Python** . You haveastrong foundationin computer vision, imageprocessingand/or machine learning. Familiarity with medical imaging (CT, MRI) and **segmentation techniques** is a plus. Youhave the ability towork both independently and collaboratively. You havegood communicationand documentation skills in English. Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
