About Our Client

We are looking for a highly analytical Investment Data Analyst (m/f/d) with strong SQL/PL/SQL skills and hands‑on experience in performance attribution and attribution datamarts (e.g., DM_CLA, PaRDS). In this role, you will work at the intersection of data engineering , investment analytics , and reporting , supporting portfolio management and performance teams with high‑quality data and attribution insights.

Job Description

Develop and optimise SQL/PLSQL scripts, stored procedures and ETL processes
Maintain and enhance attribution datamarts (DM_CLA, PaRDS)
Analyse portfolio performance using industry‑standard attribution methods (e.g., Brinson, multi‑factor, FX attribution)
Ensure data accuracy across time series, benchmarks, exposures and P&L datasets
Support performance reporting, KPI calculations and regulatory requirements
Troubleshoot data issues and perform root‑cause analyses in complex DWH environments
Improve data workflows, automation and data quality standards
Collaborate closely with performance, risk, portfolio management and IT teams

The Successful Applicant

Strong experience with SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle preferred)
Understanding of performance attribution methodologies
Experience working with attribution databases such as DM_CLA or PaRDS
Knowledge of investment data structures (holdings, benchmarks, FX, risk factors)
Background in Asset Management, Investment Banking, Fund Operations or similar
Experience in ETL, DWH concepts, and data modelling
Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams
Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
