Investment Portfolio Manager

Job Title: Investment Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize assigned investment portfolios with a focus on long-term value creation
• Review and analyze business plans, financial models, and periodic financial reports
• Define financial targets and performance benchmarks for portfolio entities
• Assess investment opportunities, including acquisitions, divestments, and partnerships
• Support strategic initiatives such as restructuring, carve-outs, and operational improvements
• Prepare management-level and board-level reports and presentations
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with strategy

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in corporate finance, strategy, or investment management
• Strong understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and valuation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Skills

• Background in M&A, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy
• Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness
