My client is a leading international law firm , firmly established in Luxembourg and recognized worldwide for its expertise in banking and finance, as well as complex cross-border transactions . Present in all major financial centers, the firm maintains a prestigious and international client base, comprising banks, financial institutions, investment funds, and corporations.

The Luxembourg Banking & Finance team operates on a human scale , allowing junior lawyers to be fully involved in transactions from an early stage. Associates benefit from direct access to Partners , who remain closely involved in both the technical execution of matters and the development of their teams. This structure ensures strong exposure to transactions while offering a clear learning curve and a solid technical foundation.

Although the firm competes at the highest international level in terms of expertise and deal value, the Luxembourg office maintains a structured, well-organized, and supportive working environment , with around 20 people in the law firm, where growth is steady and sustainable. Training, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with other offices are central to the firm’s approach, making it an ideal platform for junior lawyers seeking both excellence and long-term development.

Your Responsibilities |  Banking/Finance – Transactions – Advisory - Lawyer

• Assist on a wide range of banking and finance transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending.
• Draft, review and negotiate finance documentation, including facility agreements, security documents and ancillary contracts.
• Support partners and senior associates on cross-border transactions, working closely with international teams.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to transactional and regulatory analysis under Luxembourg law.
• Gain exposure to regulatory aspects of banking and financial services (considered a strong asset).
• Participate actively in deal execution, client calls and internal coordination.
  

Profile and Career Path |  Banking/Finance – Transactions – Advisory - Lawyer

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Banking & Finance within a Luxembourg law firm.
• Hands-on exposure to transactional work is essential.
• Good understanding of Luxembourg banking and finance frameworks; regulatory knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, reliable and keen to develop within a high-standard international setting.
