Junior GRC & Security Compliance Consultant SPACE (m/f/d)

In the space domain, security is shaped as much by structure and decision-making as by technology. At CGI, we support the planning and execution of national and international space missions with reliable systems, structured approaches and experienced professionals. The space ground segment is at the core of this work.

As a Junior GRC & Security Compliance Consultant (m/f/d), you will learn how to structure cybersecurity from a governance and risk perspective. You will support risk assessments, develop security documentation and contribute to compliance activities, working closely with colleagues from both technical and organisational backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support in the development and implementation of information security management systems (ISMS)
• Assistance in performing risk assessments and documenting results
• Contribution to the definition and analysis of security requirements
• Support in preparing policies, procedures and security documentation
• Participation in audits, assessments and compliance activities
• Assistance in aligning customer environments with standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI frameworks
• Collaboration with technical teams to ensure compliance requirements are properly implemented
• Support in customer communication and preparation of presentations and reports

Qualifications

• Strong interest in governance, risk management and compliance topics in cybersecurity
• Basic understanding of information security principles and standards (e.g. ISO 2700x)
• Structured and analytical way of working
• A completed or ongoing degree in IT security, computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Very good German and English language skills

Nice to Have

• Initial experience with ISMS or compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (e.g. ISO 27005)
• Experience in documentation or audit preparation
• Interest in regulatory environments (e.g. NIS2 or similar)
