Key Account Manager – Life Sciences & Healthcare (m/f/d)

In the role of Key Account Manager – Life Sciences & Healthcare (m/f/d) for Central Europe you will take on a central responsibility for our customers in Life Sciences, Healthcare and Pharma industries . You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, build trusting customer relationships, and develop forward-thinking solutions. Your contribution strengthens business success and the sustainable expansion of our partnerships.

The role can be carried out in a location-independent hybrid manner from one of our 3DS locations with strong preference for the city of Darmstadt (alternative locations are Munich and Stuttgart). Regular travel within the DACH region and internationally is planned for close collaboration with colleagues and customers.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Own and develop a portfolio of Life Sciences & Healthcare accounts (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech), driving revenue growth and building long-term strategic customer relationships.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure, with full accountability for pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, engaging with C-level and senior decision-makers to position Dassault Systèmes as a trusted digital transformation partner.
  • Conduct consultative discovery discussions to understand customer challenges and translate them into value-driven solution strategies aligned with business outcomes.
  • Lead value-based engagements and RFI/RFP processes, articulating the business value of Dassault Systèmes’ portfolio and supporting roadmap and transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Industry Consulting, and Services teams, ensuring strong collaboration across the customer lifecycle and maintaining accurate CRM pipeline and forecasting.

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with significant proven experience in direct B2B sales, ideally in enterprise software, digital platforms, IT solutions, or consulting services.
  • Proven experience in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech), alternatively exposure in Energy, Infrastructure and Materials sector is advantageous.
  • Strong track record of managing complex enterprise sales cycles and closing high‑value deals.
  • Excellent consultative and value-based selling skills, including experience engaging with C-level stakeholders and leading commercial negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of Life Sciences value chains, including R­D, clinical development, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality/regulatory (GxP), with the ability to translate business challenges into digital transformation opportunities.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, with a strategic and customer-focused mindset; fluent in English and German (required for customer-facing activities).
