Land Acquisition Manager

JDRoss have partnered with a European IPP, who have been one of the most dynamic solar producers in the last 15+ years. They have a multinational presence with 1 GW of installed solar capacity globally.

Responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential sites suitable for greenfield solar PV projects, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial requirements. Conduct due diligence through thorough site assessments and review of permitting requirements to confirm project feasibility. Negotiate and finalise land acquisition, surface rights, and other legal agreements with landowners and relevant stakeholders. Work closely with development, legal, and technical teams to support smooth land acquisition and ongoing project development. Build and maintain strong partnerships with landowners, key stakeholders, and local authorities to facilitate long‑term project success. Assist in identifying and coordinating professionals responsible for drafting documents required during permitting. Ensure permitting activities progress efficiently and in alignment with project timelines. Track the progress of ongoing projects with local partners and support development activities as needed.

Expected Skills & Profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Environmental Studies, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in land acquisition and real estate negotiations, ideally within the renewable energy or solar PV sector. Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce executive‑level reporting and make quick, informed decisions. Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Practical experience using GIS and/or CAD tools.
