Lead Document Controller (all genders)
Your future tasks:
- Coordinate the implementation and consistent application of document management processes, tools, templates, and standards across the project portfolio.
- Administer and maintain document management systems and environments (e.g. SharePoint, Aconex), providing user support and ensuring compliance with corporate procedures.
- Oversee document control activities across projects, acting as a central coordination point for Document Controllers and ensuring alignment with project needs.
- Ensure structured storage, traceability, accessibility, and data integrity of all project documentation, including metadata and document libraries.
- Support project and package teams in document review, validation, and progress monitoring in alignment with work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Drive continuous improvement of document management practices through training, lessons learned, stakeholder collaboration, and updates to corporate standards.
Your profile:
- Degree in Engineering, Information Management, or a related technical or administrative discipline.
- Several years of professional experience in document management for large‑scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally within offshore wind.
- Practical experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Aconex, or similar platforms.
- Structured and analytical working style with strong focus on process consistency, document lifecycle management, and data quality.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional and multicultural teams while maintaining alignment with corporate standards.
- Good command of written and spoken English, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel if required.
