Responsibilities

  • Delivering significant impact to revenue growth and profitability of BU Sustainable / RRPS by acquisition of major new customer projects (sales volume > 100 mln €) for our energy system solutions.
  • Leveraging and expanding existing network and strong market understanding for the identification, strategic development and closing of opportunities to sell major projects in the field of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • Leading multidisciplinary bid teams responsible for preparing comprehensive sales proposals and negotiating customer contracts for major projects, including equipment supply, EPC and long-term service agreements.
  • Acting as sparring partner towards the senior management (director / VP level) of our key customers regarding our solutions; strategically, technically and commercially, throughout all project development phases.
  • Actively coaching and supporting the development of junior colleagues, and driving the further professionalization of our organization bringing in proven experience and expertise.
  • Clearly demonstrated ability / proven track record in leading the successful sales of BESS projects > 50 mln €.

Qualifications – Who we are looking for

  • You have a successfully completed technical degree (electrical engineering), business degree or a similar qualification.
  • You have extensive professional experience and a proven track record in sales of energy systems & solutions.
  • Experience with grid scale batteries is a must.
  • You work independently, are able to multi-task, organize and prioritize competing time demands.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work in teams across organizational boundaries.
  • You offer excellent commercial acumen, confident approach, good communication skills, ability to work in a team, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • You are willing to travel regularly.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
