The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EDC Logistics Operations IT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world. You will make an impact by:

  • Be part of the EDC Operations team for the third-party/LLP, warehouse
  • Managing SAP S4 interfaces in SAP S4 between the 3PL and Solventum
  • Analyzing and resolving inventory discrepancies between the 3PL and Solventum
  • Execute monthly SOX reporting and internal inventory audits
  • ERP System Management: serve as a superuser for the Solventum SAP S4 system, providing support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure optimal functionality and user competency within the distribution center environment
  • Support and optimize inbound and outbound distribution logistics, including management of internal and 3PL distribution and transportation of finished goods
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as supply chain, procurement, Intercompany and customer service teams to ensure the 3PL partner’s efforts support broader organizational goals and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day 3PL activities, including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment, ensuring high standards of execution

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics (Logistics focus) or similar from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in logistics, manufacturing, and/or continuous improvement environment, preferably with a healthcare or life science organization
  • Ability to communicate well with cross-functional teams in English
  • Fluent in English and German
  • SAP Logistics experience
  • Team player, persistent, and results-oriented
  • Ability to manage change, including quickly adapting to new systems and processes
  • Eager and capable of improving service and logistics processes

Additional qualifications

  • Dangerous Goods handling experience/certification

Work location and Travel

  • Hybrid (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Zülpich at least 2 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 10%

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
