Location: Munich – hybrid (2 days/week office presence required)

About the Role

As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital and rare disease medicines, we have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Commercial Operations – DACH.

This highly strategic role sits at the centre of commercial decision‑making across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing market insights, pricing and access analysis, and strategic recommendations that directly influence commercial outcomes in one of our most complex regions.

What You’ll Do

Analyse DACH market trends, pricing environments, access pathways and competitive landscapes.
Support strategic planning, business cases, portfolio decisions, and launch readiness activities.
Produce insightful presentations, reporting, dashboards and data visualisations for senior stakeholders.
Serve as a key interface between global strategy and local execution.
Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Global Commercial, Finance, and India-based analytics.
Lead and contribute to strategic commercial projects across the region.

About You

You are motivated by impact and enjoy working at the intersection of analytics, commercial strategy and cross‑functional leadership. You bring strong commercial understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, coupled with the ability to digest complexity and influence senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences or related field.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

5–6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, analytics, market access or strategy.
Strong understanding of German healthcare, pricing and reimbursement systems.
Experience working across multiple markets, preferably in DACH.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure problems and communicate insights clearly.
Experience from strategy consulting firm is highly desirable.
Fluent English and German required
Positive, solution‑focused mindset with strong learning agility.
Strong collaboration and communication skills; enjoys working cross‑functionally.
Ability to succeed in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
