Manager Fund Accountant | Private Equity | West Luxembourg

Overview

Our client is an independent professional services firm with 15 years of expertise in fund accounting, corporate services and tax compliance . Recently strengthened through a strategic merger, the firm now combines hands-on fund management with specialized advisory services for fund structuring and setup.

The firm enjoys an excellent reputation and works selectively with high-quality, sophisticated clients, primarily in Private Equity and AIF .

Responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting operations for Private Equity and AIF structures
• Review and validate NAV calculations and financial statements
• Ensure accurate capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations
• Supervise portfolio valuations in collaboration with external partners
• Monitor cash flows and perform fund-level reconciliations
• Act as the main liaison for clients, auditors, and third parties
• Ensure compliance with Luxembourg GAAP / IFRS where applicable
• Support onboarding of new funds and structures
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of fund accountants
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and timely completion of tasks
• Contribute to recruitment, training, and performance development

Your Profile

• 7-10 years of experience in Fund Accounting , with a strong focus on Private Equity
• Proven experience managing AIF structures
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fluent in French and English
• Strong leadership with a pragmatic, hands-on style
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
