As the manager of the “IT Asset and Access Recertification” team, you will lead and oversee a diverse group of professionals across multiple geographical locations. This role demands strong leadership, the ability to foster collaboration, drive high performance, and ensure that team objectives align with the broader business strategy. Cultural awareness, adaptability, and the capacity to navigate complex global challenges are essential for success.

Your primary goal as IT Asset and Access Recertification Manager is to maintain high data quality for IT assets within the CMDB (ServiceNow) and to define local operations and processes related to access recertification.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Oversee accurate management of IT asset and configuration data, ensuring data integrity and quality across platforms like ServiceNow and Flexera.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse, global team to achieve high performance and foster collaboration.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce asset management policies and procedures for data integrity and accountability.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, managing their lifecycle for optimal service delivery.
  • Establish and oversee a standardized global access review process, ensuring regular recertification and security compliance.
  • Support and improve configuration management database (CMDB) data quality, sharing insights and gathering requirements.
  • Track issue resolution, develop KPIs and dashboards, and elevate concerns to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment of global initiatives and effective communication.
  • Promote process automation, identify opportunities for optimization, and foster a culture of learning and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, resolve open issues, and support strategic decision‑making through transparent reporting.

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT service management, ideally in IT asset and configuration management in a global or multinational environment.
  • Proven track record managing and leading teams in diverse, multicultural settings.
  • Extensive experience organising and facilitating workshops with internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience in working with IT infrastructure components and supporting infrastructure management.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing data, generating reports, and presenting complex information to varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with Security Management, especially User Access Management, is a plus.

Technical skills

  • Solid understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with IT asset management tools and platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of IT asset tracking, inventory management systems, and configuration management databases (CMDB).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights effectively.

Soft skills / transversal skills

  • Experience in managing teams, preferably within a global environment.
  • Experience in working in an international, multicultural context with a global mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Well‑organised with excellent task prioritisation and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership skills, capable of guiding, mentoring, and supporting teams and individuals.
  • Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and a global mindset.
  • Effective in remote and diverse working environments, with a willingness to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is a plus.

Where will you be in the organization?

The division

Group Technology Operations (GTO) is dedicated to the design, development, and management of Global AXA IT products, ensuring their delivery to AXA Entities and the broader AXA Group with the appropriate quality of service and cost efficiency, aligned with strategic business priorities. Its core responsibilities encompass four main areas: delivering global IT products, managing the global product portfolio, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining close proximity and support to AXA entities.

The department / team

You will be part of the Global Service Operation department within the Group Technology Operations (GTO) division, taking on the role of team leader for “IT Asset and Access Recertification.” Our department oversees the daily delivery of IT services for AXA on a global level, collaborating closely with various stakeholders within Group Operations (GO) – especially Global Product Departments, AXA Entities, and external suppliers.

Together with your team, you will provide services and dashboards related to CMDB to AXA GO and Entities, while ensuring the smooth operation of local processes and procedures for access recertification.
