In this role, you will drive the presence of Bain & Company and focus on increasing our awareness among senior executives and high‑value business communities on topics relevant across clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As part of the Market Reputation Team DACH you will shape Bain’s perception as the leading consulting partner to ambitious business leaders, working closely with Bain leadership and our marketing team around the globe.
As a Specialist, you will develop and execute marketing activities across channels to include Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Events & Conferences, Social Media, and other market‑specific priorities. You’ll provide ongoing support to key stakeholders by delivering results, collaborating with other teams, tracking KPIs and performance, and helping us to continuously improve and innovate.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program management: Plan, develop and execute multi‑channel B2B marketing and communications programs to build awareness of Bain in the DACH Region.
- Public Relations: Support the press officer in building and maintaining relationships with key editors and position Bain Partners as thought leaders. Develop compelling storylines and place Bain’s intellectual property (IP), e.g. surveys, in the media. Collaborate with external agencies.
- Events: Plan and execute executive thought‑leadership events, including identifying and securing partners, speakers, 3rd party partnerships, sponsorships, conferences & events.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media: Design, conduct and measure digital campaigns with global and local content to effectively reach target audiences. Create and distribute engaging social media content.
- Content: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and Marketing to develop and leverage intellectual property (IP) and content specific to the local market. Create integrated marketing plans to promote content across digital channels, events and press.
- Work collaboratively with EMEA and global Marketing to ensure alignment with Bain’s brand and messaging, and achieve Bain Marketing’s overarching goals.
- Track Market Reputation KPIs and performance to optimize effectiveness and inform strategic planning.
- Be a marketing thought‑leader; bring innovation to improve marketing programs, campaigns tools and processes.
- This role is based in Munich.
ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 years of B2B Marketing & Communications experience in a professional services, agency or company environment.
- Multi‑channel program management experience and proven track record leading projects and campaigns end‑to‑end.
- Proven track record in Public Relations and content creation, incl. top tier media contacts and preparing target‑audience‑focused content with limited guidance.
- Digital marketing and Social Media experience with a track record in creating, managing and evaluating digital marketing assets and campaigns. Ability to proactively suggest creative ideas and performance improvements.
- Proven track record in successfully planning and executing own hosted events (onsite and virtual) as well as stakeholder’s active participation in external events. Experience in collaboration with 3rd parties and identifying the best suited events, formats and cooperations partners.
- Written and spoken fluency in both German and English.
- A client‑focused mindset and ability to liaise with senior management stakeholders.
- Ability to understand marketing objectives, priorities, and strategies - both for the local offices and industry practices.
- Technical proficiency in handling social media platforms, AI, CMS, analytics tools, etc.
- Ability and willingness to promote and expand the use of AI within the Market Reputation Team.
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, pro‑activeness, and a team‑oriented mindset.

- Resilience and ability to perform in a fast paced and ambitions environment.
- Readiness for occasion‑related travel within DACH‑Region.
- Experience working for Swiss and Austrian markets is a plus.
- Experience in collaboration with agencies and external service providers is a plus.
- Experience with CRM and Alumni programs is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor / Master degree (preferred) in business / marketing / communications / social sciences.
