Role overview

Medical Device Sales Representative will be covering North region of Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover triangle. We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative with 1–3 years of experience to support sales growth within an assigned territory. In this role, you will engage with customers on-site, present product solutions, and contribute to expanding the customer base while working closely with the regional sales team. This position is ideal for individuals early in their sales career who are eager to develop expertise within the medical device industry and deliver strong commercial results.

Responsibilities

  • Visit pre‑qualified prospects and existing customers to support acquisition and relationship building.
  • Conduct structured customer needs assessments with support from senior team members when needed.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations highlighting key features, clinical benefits, and value.
  • Provide basic technical guidance to customers and coordinate demo device placements and follow‑ups.
  • Support negotiations and contract discussions alongside the Sales Manager when required.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to pre‑qualify and manage leads.

Territory Development

  • Identify potential new customer groups across Hospitals, MVZ, and General Practitioners under guidance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Efficiently plan travel routes to maximize daily customer visits and minimize non‑productive travel.
  • Follow up on opportunities consistently, ensuring timely communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support development of local reference sites and assist in identifying KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team to execute regional sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback, competitor activity, and market insights.
  • Participate in team discussions around new sales and marketing concepts (e.g., product launches, new segments).
  • Contribute to territory activity planning and execution to achieve assigned targets.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales experience , ideally in medical devices, healthcare, pharma, or related technical industries.
  • Familiarity with target customer groups such as Hospitals, MVZ, or General Practitioners (experience can be direct or from internships/early roles).
  • Demonstrated success in lead management, customer engagement, or territory support roles.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn complex technical products.
  • Hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of medical regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 13485, MDD, MDR ) is preferred; training will be provided.
