MEE Field Marketing Activation and Communication Lead (f/m/d) (Parental Leave Cover)

Responsibilities
As SAP is in the midst of a transformation and supports SAP’s AI‑Strategy within the Strategy & Operations (S&O) board area, field activation and communications is more important than ever to motivate and enable the teams, and to position the right messages in the market.
- Set themes and focus areas for an MEE Field Marketing communications plan, together with Regional CMO and Chief of Staff.
- Plan activities that ensure the focus topics are effectively positioned in a balanced way across our main audiences:
- MEE Field Marketing employees
- Marketing Leadership teams
- Sales and business stakeholders
- External audiences
- Set communication goals around strategic priorities and people programs with SVP and Chief of Staff.
- Plan and execute communication activities to MEE Marketing employees, such as:
- All‑Employee Meetings
- Leadership sessions
- E‑Mail and newsletters
- Video productions
- Podcasts, interviews, on‑stage presentations, panels, etc.
- Evaluate and analyze results to improve effectiveness.
- Execute Field activation to increase employee engagement and make clear how everyone contributes to overall strategy.
Executive Communication for Regional Chief Marketing Officer
- Build a communication plan based on the goals of the MEE Field Marketing SVP.
- Execute external and internal communication activities, such as:
- Preparing external presentations, keynotes, panels, councils, interviews, podcasts.
- Managing social media accounts and activities, especially on LinkedIn.
- Preparing internal presentations.
- Evaluate and analyze results to improve effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate communication positions, working directly with senior executives.
- Excellent communication skills, ideally a background in PR.
- Solid understanding of modern marketing.
- Experience with state‑of‑the‑art communication practices, tools and platforms (video, social media, etc.).
- Creative profile with a can‑do attitude.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels in the company.
- Well versed with MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Video editing/production skills and experience with producing podcasts.
- Analytical mindset and data‑driven approach.
- Experience from sales or sales‑related roles is a plus.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
Where you belong
As MEE Field Marketing Executive and Employee Communications lead you will be part of the MEE Field Marketing Office reporting directly into the Regional Chief Marketing Officer at SAP. The MEE Marketing team is responsible for all marketing activities for the entire product portfolio across all customer segments in around 30 countries. Always linked to the goal of positioning SAP as the #1 enterprise application company, increasing willingness to buy, generating demand, and implementing measures to increase usage and loyalty. The MEE Field Marketing Office supports the MEE leadership team and their teams to actively drive SAP’s marketing efforts.
