Role Description

This part‑time role as a Network Engineer is based on‑site in Mannheim, where you will focus on managing and maintaining network systems. Daily responsibilities include designing, implementing, and administering network infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the highest level of security and performance. The Network Engineer will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable network solutions while staying informed about evolving technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering processes
• Strong experience in Troubleshooting and problem resolution for network‑related issues
• In‑depth knowledge of Network Security principles and best practices
• Skills in Network Design, including creating and improving network architecture
• Ability to collaborate in team environments and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and protocols is a plus
