Our partners from Nike Germany are looking for an Energy Marketing Senior Professional in their Energy Team, located in Berlin with a limited contract of 12 months.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As the Energy Marketing Senior Professional Berlin, Germany you will be a part of the Central Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Energy Marketing Director, Central. Based in Berlin, this role will be responsible for balancing relationship management & marketing execution through our key brand ambassador relationships across the Nike ecosystem, focused on Berlin and Germany.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving key “energy” campaigns around our most limited & collaboration products with our most visionary led catalysts & marketplace partners
  • Creating visionary marketing concepts and stories aimed at identified brand ambassadors pushing the boundaries of creativity and sport and advancing the notion of sports culture
  • Collaborating with Global/Geo product teams to identify city product opportunities, specifically leverage local insights, allowing Nike to remain competitive in Berlin, Germany
  • Feeding key brand ambassador relationships strategically into Geo & Global campaign work to catalyze our Brand and advance our position within our key marketing fields (Sportswear, Running, Football, Fitness)
  • Lead long-term relationships with cultural ambassadors in Berlin & Germany to cultivate the brand and create the future of sport
  • Consistently engaging in Berlin’s rich cultural landscape, identifying key consumer insights and driving an insight loop back into Geo & Global, including Brand and Product Teams

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will work fluidly across the Marketing Team, to drive better relationships with your consumer & partners in the city/country. You will also work cross-functionally in the Berlin office with key partners such as Brand Marketing, Comms and Marketplace.

The shape of your day-to-day leadership will vary significantly, and your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You therefore must be collaborative, intuitive, and maximize the effectiveness of individual as well as collective thinking. You must multiply the opinions and expertise of those you engage with to apply coherent strategy and thinking that leads to new opportunities to continue to apply new thinking.

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in brand and/or brand functional management, with a strong focus on cross- functional marketing.
  • Experience in cultural marketing in Germany and a demonstrable understanding of the visionary and forward-thinking customer, the city and Nike's position within it with credentials in strategic decision-making in this environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in cultural marketing, including developing and executing marketing plans, identifying seeding strategies, creating content briefs, and development of innovative marketing strategies
  • Proven experience identifying, owning and managing external relationships with thought leaders in Central - with a strong focus on music, art, design, fashion, innovation and social media
  • A desire and willingness to work in an agile fashion as needed
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure timely execution of marketing plans.
  • Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple deliverables simultaneously, delivering results under tight and complex timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and intrinsic passion for flawless execution.
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactivity, and accountability.
  • A strong team player who is open to grow themselves and others
