DesignYourBasement is seeking a polished, professional, and reliable Office Administrative Assistant for a premier office furniture provider in West Palm Beach. This company has been a leader in the industry for over 26 years, specializing in high-quality, American-made office solutions—from custom cubicles to executive seating. As the first point of contact in their 6,000 sq. ft. luxury showroom, you will represent a brand known for excellence, serving a clientele that includes high-level executives and business owners.

Job Details

  • Title: Office Administrative Assistant / Showroom Coordinator
  • Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Denver CO listed, but showroom in West Palm Beach)
  • Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour (salary: $23–$24.01 per hour)
  • Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Part-time (30–35 hours per week)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM (shift: First)
  • Education: High School

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet clients as they enter the showroom and conduct initial discovery by asking targeted questions to understand their office furniture needs.
  • Seamlessly refer clients to the expert sales team based on their specific requirements.
  • Manage incoming phone calls with a professional demeanor; perform outbound "check-in" calls to previous customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs.
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the showroom, ensuring the environment is tidy, organized, and reflective of a high-end brand.
  • Utilize computer systems for data entry, client tracking, and general office support.
  • Work in a smoke-free environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly polished professional speaking voice and appearance suitable for interacting with executive-level clientele.
  • Previous experience in a front-facing administrative, reception, or high‑end retail role.
  • Computer savvy and comfortable learning new software for client management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport through in-person and phone interactions.
  • Reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Experience level: Experienced.
