Operations Team Member

Hamburg Brewing Company is seeking to hire an Operations Team Member to join our growing team.

Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and fill kegs accurately and efficiently
• Perform CIP (Clean‑In‑Place) procedures on fermenters, brite tanks, and other production vessels
• Assist on the packaging line as needed (e.g. loading, monitoring, transitions)
• Organize, maintain, and manage warehouse inventory, supplies, and storage areas
• Adhere strictly to safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols while handling all equipment and materials
• Operate tools such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material‑handling equipment safely
• Help unload and stage supplies and finished goods
• Contribute to a clean, orderly work environment through daily housekeeping, cleaning responsibilities, and general maintenance
• Support other production tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

• No prior experience in brewing or cellar work required. We will train. Any experience is welcome.
• Experience with forklifts or other material‑handling equipment is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude or comfort working with equipment is a bonus
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate which is better Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets
• Ability to stay focused, work efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods
