Partner Account Manager Central EMEA

Overview

Our Zero Access architecture ensures no one can alter or delete backup data, providing cyber resilience by design. Object First is seeking a Partner Account Manager to support our expansion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing partner programs designed to increase sales, recruit new partners, and develop them for Object First.

Your role will involve promoting and communicating online/offline programs and tools to enhance partner product knowledge and educational initiatives. This includes creating and implementing strategic plans tailored to Germany. The ideal candidate will possess a "can-do" attitude and seamlessly transition from strategic planning to hands-on implementation. This position requires robust program and project management skills for the global/EMEA region, with the ability to understand and address partner needs, translating them into successful experiences that drive revenue growth and deepen partner engagement with Object First. You will report to the Regional Sales Director, Central EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Build a highly trusted and professional partner network.
• Engage effectively with channel partners to meet revenue targets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Create and implement Channel plans with the top Partners.
• Partner Development: Work with partners to boost their commitment and capabilities to meet financial metrics and KPIs.
• Close daily relationships with the other team members of the Central EMEA region: sales, insides, SEs, marketing.
• Collaborate with Veeam Teams to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
• Partner pipeline management through Deal Registrations and other means.
• Find synergies with Partner Account Managers from the other EMEA regions to propose and define best practices.
• Establish and report on metrics to measure partners’ performances and address any deficiencies.

Requirements

• Partner Account Management Experience.
• A proven experience of 3 to 5 years of building an active network of VARs and MSPs in the Central EMEA region.
• Demonstrated success in growing sales through managing partner accounts.
• Expertise in establishing strong relationships with partner C-level executives and management.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams across various organizations, prioritizing business activities as needed.
• Proficiency in creating, evaluating and following up on partner business plans to achieve set goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional diary management and time management abilities.
• Driving License: Required for travel within the region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Veeam solutions knowledge.
• Experienced with using on a daily basis Salesforce CRM.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
