About this role

The People Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end employment lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, providing administrative and operational support. Maintains and enhances employee record keeping, assists with onboarding and handling general inquiries. Works closely with the People Partners and other stakeholders to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the People & Workplace Experience function.

What you will do

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Track and reply to internal and external queries.
  • Assist with daily operational and administrative tasks.
  • Support payroll processes.
  • Manage document management, scheduling and electronic file maintenance.
  • Assist with onboarding.
  • Provide support to employees by answering questions, resolving issues and providing information.
  • Support the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to an effective and engaged team by ensuring clear expectations, regular 1:1s, clear objectives and open performance conversations.
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace where team members communicate openly, share knowledge and respect differences.
  • Live the CDP Values and demonstrate appropriate behaviours for your position.

Internal Stakeholders

CPO, Global Director of Talent, Head of Communications & Community, Workplace Experience Manager and Coordinator, Engagement Partner and wider People Experience Team, People throughout organization.

External Stakeholders

Vendors, other service providers.

Requirements

  • Native German speaker with excellent English skills (B2).
  • Knowledge of German labour law.
  • Experience working with Works Councils.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Salary and benefits

The salary banding for this role is up to €70,000/year. Holidays and benefits are in accordance with local regulations. This is a hybrid role requiring weekly time in the office. Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.
