Helmholtz‑Zentrum Berlin (HZB) conducts fundamental and applied research on energy materials and operates advanced analytical facilities, including the BESSY II synchrotron. For the next generation photovoltaics (PV), HZB performs materials research and device development up to the industrial level. The department of perovskite tandem solar cells develops metal halide perovskite solar cells and achieved several world records for perovskite‑silicon (32.5%) and perovskite‑CIGS (24.2%) tandem solar cells in the past years. New projects started with the goal to maximise the stability of the tandem architecture by further developing the optoelectronic parameters of the top cell. Here, we look for investigating fundamental process‑ and material properties, understanding film formation and crystallisation, implementation into tandem solar cells, high operational stability, and large‑area scaling. To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced scientist/postdoc in the field of perovskite solar cells, who is eager to work in our international and multidisciplinary group.
