Power Electronics Design Engineer

Join a leading aerospace technology company developing high-reliability, customer-specific power electronics for satellite and ground-segment applications. As a Development Engineer-Power Electronics, you’ll design and deliver innovative power supply solutions for critical space missions. What You’ll Do:Design and develop analog DC/DC converters based on customer specifications.Create detailed circuit designs and control algorithms for new and existing products.Validate designs via simulation, analysis, and breadboarding.Monitor PCB layouts and ensure adherence to design standards.Define and execute testing and commissioning procedures for prototypes.Collaborate with module design and system engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Support projects across multiple product lines, including satellite power electronics, ground-segment systems, and high-performance injector modules. What You’ll Need:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience in power electronics, particularly DC/DC converters (flyback, back-to-back, or similar topologies).Strong analog design skills; FPGA or microcontroller experience is not required.Experience with high-reliability electronics; candidates from aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial sectors welcome.Ability to interpret customer specifications and maintain design heritage.Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
