leading pan-European sustainability-focused investment manager

(multi-billion € AUM) in the search for a

Principal .

The platform invests across private markets, backing mid-market businesses benefiting from long-term

environmental and resource-efficiency megatrends , with a strong track record across DACH and wider Europe.

The role

Senior investment role with responsibility across

origination, execution and portfolio value creation

Active involvement in sourcing proprietary opportunities in Germany and neighbouring markets

Close collaboration with Partners and portfolio company management teams

Exposure to complex transactions in industrial, business services and sustainability-driven sectors

Profile

~8–12+ years of total experience, including

meaningful buy-side / private equity investing

Strong background in transaction execution and financial analysis

Fluent German and English

required

Commercial mindset, hands-on approach, and ambition to operate at senior deal level
