Private Equity Investment Analyst / Associate (m/w/d)

A leading Private Equity investor with a strong focus on technology investments is looking to hire an Investment Analyst or Associate (m/f/d) to join its Munich-based team.

The firm invests in technology companies across the DACH region and broader Europe, partnering closely with management teams to scale and professionalize businesses.

Tasks

• Support the execution of transactions
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and scenario analysis
• Perform commercial and financial due diligence
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee
• Analyze markets, competitive landscapes, and industry trends in the tech sector
• Monitor portfolio companies and support value creation initiatives

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Excellent academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• High interest in technology-driven business models
• Structured, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset
