Product Manager (m/f/d) - OPENVAS Security Intelligence

Support our Product Department with your experience as a Product Manager in a full-time position (40 hours per week), and own the success of our key premium product. The reporting line is to the Department Lead Product Management & Architecture.

As a Product Manager, you define the what and why of product development, grounded in real customer problems and clear business outcomes. You work with a dedicated team of ~15 engineers, enabling them to build the right solutions by providing clarity, focus, and direction.

This role follows a market-driven, pragmatic approach: understanding customer needs, prioritizing the highest-value opportunities, and aligning the organization around delivering products people actually want.

Your mission

• Define and drive the platform vision, strategy, and positioning
• Identify, validate, and prioritize customer and market problems
• Own and evolve the product roadmap with a clear focus on outcomes
• Ensure businessvalue-based prioritization of the product backlog
• Take end-to-end responsibility for product success and business impact
• Implementation of the AI strategy within the platform
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Management, Architecture, Marketing and Sales
• Align with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure market success

What you offer

• Excellent communication skills in German and English (both mandatory in word and written!) and the ability to create clarity and alignment
• Experience working with large public sector customers (e.g. federal agencies) is a strong advantage
