Product Portfolio Manager (f/m/d)

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Product Portfolio Manager to lead our software portfolio in industrial networking.

In this pivotal role, you will act as an entrepreneur for your product portfolio, driving its strategic direction and ensuring its market success within the rapidly evolving landscape of industrial digitalization.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners to identify new growth areas, technologies, and emerging opportunities, helping to define the future of secure industrial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing the industrial networking product strategy across the portfolio.
  • Driving system-level thinking for integrated security solutions spanning OT and IT environments and leading the implementation of Zero Trust architecture across all network technology products.
  • Fostering cutting‑edge technology, including AI, addressing unique OT challenges such as high availability, redundancy, legacy system integration, and operational continuity, offering a great customer experience.
  • Guiding the security architecture for network switches and remote connectivity solutions across industrial applications, integrating Zero Trust principles into network segmentation and access control.
  • Conducting in‑depth market intelligence and competitive analysis in industrial connectivity, identifying new growth areas and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to translate security requirements into technical specifications and effectively position our security value propositions.
  • Managing strategic partnerships, ensuring track‑and‑trace contract compliance, and handling escalations and performance topics at a strategic level across operations and projects.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • You hold a university degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • 8+ years of experience in network technology, focusing on cybersecurity.
    • Deep expertise in designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures in OT environments.
    • Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001) and network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation).
    • CCNA level or equivalent certification.
    • Proven experience in OT/IT convergence and industrial network security.
    • Experience communicating and fostering project stakeholder relations with senior management, product portfolio managers, R&D, support, and business sponsors.
  • Ways of working:
    • Strong leadership skills and a clear orientation on results.
    • Self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership.
    • Driven individual with vision and a strong team player mindset.
  • Languages: Proficient in spoken and written English; German is a plus.
