Production Manager (m/f/d) – 100 %

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and hands-on Production Manager to take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of all production activities at Winglet. In this role, you will oversee live, hybrid, and on-demand TV-style education formats, lead the production team, and ensure the highest technical and visual quality across all productions in an international, fast-growing medical education environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for all production processes and standards across live, hybrid, and on-demand formats
• Plan, manage, and continuously optimize production workflows, quality guidelines, and technical setups
• Lead and develop the production team, including capacity planning and coordination of external production partners
• Ensure final approval and quality assurance of all productions, maintaining high technical and visual standards
• Take overall responsibility for smooth studio workflows on production days, coordinating the studio team and making real-time decisions when adjustments are required
• Working hours on production days are typically between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with flexible start times and core availability from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM (2-3 times a week)
• Create and oversee production plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Work closely with internal teams (Program & Sales) to ensure seamless handovers across all production phases
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies and oversee studio infrastructure to ensure operational reliability

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience in production management, live broadcasting, or event production, ideally in digital, TV, or streaming environments
• Strong leadership experience with interdisciplinary production teams
• Excellent technical understanding of live, hybrid, and on-demand production setups
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and the ability to remain calm in live situations
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a hands-on mindset
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written & spoken)
