Production Planner specialising in satellite tanks (m/f/d)

Production Planner specialising in satellite tanks (m/f/d) – responsible for planning and controlling production of satellite tanks for the European launcher Ariane and other international launchers. This is a temporary position for 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Independently creating and amending work plans, bills of materials and test plans, with a focus on SCT products.
• Creating and maintaining parameter‑valid production bills of materials based on drawings.
• Creating and amending production and test instructions.
• Planning and compiling work packages for production in consultation with specialist departments.
• Assisting with the design of equipment and its commissioning.
• Coordinating specialist departments and creating production orders.
• Production control with a focus on SCT products, including continuous monitoring of production milestones in terms of both time and technical aspects.
• Collaborating on quotations for SCT products.

Qualifications

• Technical training in mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology.
• Several years’ professional experience in production planning and control (knowledge of titanium welding, mechanical machining, heat treatment, fibre composite winding, NDI, pressure testing and geometric measurement is an advantage).
• Knowledge of calculating planning and machine times.
• Proficiency in SAP TC, CAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in Catia V5, AutoCAD and NX is an advantage.
