Program Management Office Manager

ATN is partnered with a globally operating Automotive Tier 1 supplier in its search for a PMO Manager to support executive leadership in strengthening project and portfolio governance within an international environment.

This is a high-impact role with close exposure to executive management and cross-functional automotive programs.

Salary: 90k. German and English are required.

In this role you will: drive transparency, structure, and strategic alignment across a complex automotive project landscape, ensuring that global programs are governed effectively and aligned with long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership on project and portfolio steering topics
• Establish and further develop governance frameworks for multi-project and program environments
• Lead portfolio planning, prioritisation, and performance tracking across automotive development programs
• Create executive-level reports, decision templates, and management presentations
• Standardise and optimise project management methodologies, tools, and processes across business units
• Conduct program and portfolio reviews, identifying risks, interdependencies, and optimisation potential
• Collaborate closely with international project leaders, engineering teams, and functional stakeholders
• Ensure alignment between product development roadmaps and overall corporate strategy

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Strong technical understanding combined with solid experience in automotive project, program, or PMO environments
• Several years of experience in portfolio governance within a Tier 1, OEM, or complex manufacturing organisation
• Deep knowledge of project management frameworks, governance structures, and portfolio control mechanisms
• Analytical, structured, and performance-driven mindset
• Confident communicator with experience engaging senior management and international stakeholders
• Advanced MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel); PM tools and reporting systems are advantageous
• Fluent German and English
