What you`ll do

At SAP Business AI, we are exploring the next frontier of AI on structured business data like graphs, tables and more. Foundation Models on structured data, like SAP-RPT-1, have ushered in the GenAI era for business relevant scenarios. Now, we are pushing further. We want to enable companies across all industries to collaboratively train foundation models and build knowledge graphs.

As Project Expert (f/m/d) you will play a leading role in coordinating with a large range of company-internal and -external stakeholders to collect high-level requirements and boundary conditions and translate between these and technical solutions in close alignment with architects, designers, product managers and other stakeholders. You will help shape the value proposition of individual platform components and contribute to refining the project vision and execution plan. You will play a key role in working out concept documents and (sub-)project proposals, ensuring alignment across involved technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior management in a complex, dynamic environment.

The Role

• Collaborate and coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to establish joint (sub-)project proposals
• Detail out, test and iterate the key value proposition of the platform: European companies share their data to build joint foundation models and knowledge graphs – for the benefit of the ecosystem and themselves
• Identify key partners and ensure alignment of vision and value proposition
• Collaborate with Product Management to define the business plan
• Collaborate with the R&D team to shape the platform requirements and boundary conditions

What you bring

• 8+ years of related professional experience incl. 5+ years of experience in project management in the area of AI and Data Platforms
• Deep understanding of Foundation Models and Knowledge Graphs (applications, value propositions, but also technology and limitations)
• Passionate about identifying new opportunities to generate value from data
• Experience in delivering high-quality solutions that meet novel customer needs and ability to balance the needs of various stakeholders in a highly dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box - roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• Strong abilities to manage internal stakeholders, identify use cases, and establish collaboration partners, manage projects and conduct negotiations
• Exceptional teamwork abilities and leadership skills including track record of delivering C-level grade presentations
• Demonstrated capability in shaping product vision & roadmaps, creating product demos, calculating business value, and making impactful product decisions
• Experience with business applications like ERP or CRM is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English language – verbal and written
