Site Manager (m/w/d) for a Wind Farm Project

Currently we're looking for a Site Manager (m/w/d) for a Wind Farm Project in Germany.

General Requirements
* Start: May 2026
* Duration: Mid 2027
* Location: Lower Saxony
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in civil or industrial construction, preferably as Site Manager for wind farms.
* Technical Expertise: Balance of Plant (BOP) works (civil foundations, roads, electrical infrastructure).
* Added Value: Electrical engineering background.
* Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC)
* Continuous inspection of workmanship and materials for compliance with technical specs and German standards (DIN).
* Witness and document critical tests (e.g., concrete pours, cable testing, pre-commissioning).
* Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to ensure defects are corrected and closed.
2. Progress, Schedule & Cost Monitoring
* Daily and weekly tracking of construction progress.
* Identify schedule deviations and potential delays early.
* Verify contractor-reported progress for payment validation.
3. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management
* Enforce HSE plans, RAMS, and German statutory requirements (BaustellV, workplace safety laws).
* Exercise Stop Work Authority for unsafe or non-compliant activities.
* Conduct safety audits, lead briefings, and participate in investigations.
* Ensure environmental compliance (waste management, spill prevention, soil/water protection).
* Act as Owner's on-site representative for safety culture.
4. Site Coordination & Authorization Management
* Serve as the main interface between Owner, engineering team, and contractors.
* Verify compliance with all permits and authorizations.
* Organize coordination meetings and resolve site-level conflicts.
* Manage site access, logistics, and laydown areas.
5. Documentation & Reporting
* Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports (progress, HSE, quality issues, forecasts).
* Collect and archive all project documentation (as-built drawings, test reports, certificates).
