deltaVision - fluid control & aerospace

Propulsion Equipment Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

Your mission

As a member of our experienced team in Munich/Germany, you will act as a “Full‑Stack” Hardware Development Engineer. You will take full ownership of your products – from technical discussions with the customer, through conceptual and detailed sizing, to the hands‑on assembly and testing of your prototypes. This holistic approach ensures you truly master the challenges of the product. You will work on equipment of our portfolio that covers mechanical valves, solenoid valves, electronic pressure regulators, feed systems, motor‑driven valves, and more. In detail you will:

  • Ensure designs are performant but strictly balanced with Design‑to‑Cost (DtC) and manufacturability.
  • Drive the entire development cycle: Concept, CAD, detailed design, and analysis (FEM/CFD).
  • Perform hands‑on integration, assembly, and testing to validate your designs.
  • Innovate our workflow: Drive AI and automated design approaches to eliminate repetitive tasks and focus on technical innovation.
  • Build software/scripts to accelerate engineering processes and sizing tools.

Your profile

  • Motivated, pragmatic, and self‑organized personality. You prefer “done” over “perfect on paper.”
  • Eager to take responsibility and shape our products, services, and company culture.
  • Strong experience with classical engineering toolsets (3DExperience – CAD, FEM, CFD) and mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python) to build programs that automate design flows. You view code as a necessary tool for modern hardware.
  • Ambition to leverage AI and automation to modernize hardware development.
  • Experience in aerospace hardware and equipment development and Product Assurance (PA) is a strong plus.
  • Hands‑on mindset for hardware‑related activities is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English; German and further languages are appreciated.

We offer

  • Immediate and flexible start
  • Permanent full‑time position (40 h/week)
  • Attractive salary package
  • Start your “Side Quest”: We support passion projects – whether it’s building new tools, test stands, or prototypes outside your main scope.
  • Shape our growth: As a fast‑scaling company, we offer the opportunity to actively build structures and define our future path.
  • 30 days annual vacation and flexible working hours
  • Bike leasing, EGYM Wellpass and subsidy for the Deutschlandticket
  • Complimentary beverages, company events, and professional development opportunities

What sets us apart?

  • Innovative products enabling next‑generation space infrastructure
  • Exceptional cost efficiency through optimized design and manufacturing
  • Rapid development and delivery cycles beyond traditional industry standards

About Us

We are deltaVision GmbH – a young, ambitious high‑tech company based in Munich, driving the future of in‑space mobility and infrastructure.

Since our founding in 2022, we have been developing, manufacturing, and qualifying advanced fluid control systems for the aerospace industry and H₂ aviation. Our expertise spans cryogenic and high‑pressure propulsion systems as well as next‑generation orbital refueling technologies, including couplers and fully integrated refueling systems designed for the harsh environment of space.

With our deep knowledge of fluid control for space systems, we are shaping the space economy towards refuelable and reusable spacecraft. We enable longer mission lifetimes, greater operational flexibility, and entirely new architectures for sustainable space operations.

We are a premium Tier‑1 supplier for cryogenic propulsion and orbital refueling systems, combining New Space agility with uncompromising engineering precision.

We are rethinking spaceflight — enabling a future where spacecraft are not disposable, but reusable, refuelable, and built to operate sustainably in orbit.
