One of the world's largest Japanese semiconductor distributors is looking for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager – EU Regulatory Strategy (f/m/d) in Munich.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional coordination with department heads (Legal, Sales, Logistics, QA) to ensure compliance with EU product liability and import regulations.
• Analyze and interpret EU regulatory changes (e.g., PLD, CE marking, REACH, RoHS) and assess their impact on our business operations.
• Develop and implement internal compliance frameworks and quality assurance protocols for imported semiconductor products.
• Identify manufacturing responsibility and traceability requirements for products sourced outside the EU.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external legal advisors, regulatory consultants, and EU authorities.
• Provi de strategic guidance to the CEO and executive team on risk mitigation and regulatory adaptation.
• Conduct internal audits and training programs to raise awareness of EU compliance obligations.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in EU regulatory compliance, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of product liability, import law, and quality assurance systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German or Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Legal, engineering, or compliance‑related academic background preferred.
