I’m working with a global digital infrastructure business that is quietly building out its European compliance function, and they’re looking for a Compliance & Quality Manager in Germany.

Not someone sitting at an already senior level.

Not someone who wants to design strategy from a distance.

But someone who wants to get closer to the operation, influence real outcomes, and step into a bigger, more visible role across a region.

What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)

This is a role where you will:

• Run and support internal audits across multiple sites
• Help prepare teams for external audits and regulatory reviews
• Assess operations against ISO / SOC frameworks and control environments
• Identify non-conformance and compliance risks
• Work directly with operational teams to agree and drive corrective actions through to closure
• Ensure consistency across sites within a global compliance framework

This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about influencing how compliance actually works on the ground.

What You Need to Bring...

To succeed in this role, you need to be strong in the following areas:

Compliance & Audit Experience (Essential)

You’ve been involved in:

• Internal audits
• Working within ISO / SOC environments
• Evidence gathering and compliance reporting

Working Within Structured Frameworks

You’re comfortable operating within:

• Defined governance and control environments
• Established processes and policies
• Global standards that need to be applied consistently

Stakeholder Influence

• Work with operational teams
• Communicate issues clearly
• Influence without creating friction
• Turn findings into solutions

Non-Conformance & Remediation

• Understand root cause
• Agree on corrective actions
• Follow through to closure

Attention to Detail

You’re structured, organised, and comfortable working with:

• Documentation
• Reporting

Non-Negotiable Requirement

You must be able to speak German fluently (C1/C2 level or equivalent).

This role requires regular interaction with local operational teams across Germany.
