Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Preparation of regular reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for Sales, Management, and related Departments
    • Analysis of turnover, sales volume, and contribution margin developments on project, customer, product, and regional levels
    • Conducting target/actual comparisons, analysing deviations and deriving recommended actions
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Participation in annual sales planning, budgeting and forecasting
    • Coordination of sales targets and monitoring of target achievement
    • Execution of trend and scenario analyses to support sales management
  • System Support & Data Quality
    • Ensuring and maintaining data quality in ERP and CRM systems
    • Supporting the further development of reporting and controlling tools
    • Cooperation with IT and data management to optimise the sales database
  • Sales Support & Projects
    • Preparation of presentations, sales meetings and management briefings
    • Supporting pricing, conditions and sales strategies through solid data analysis
    • Participation in projects aimed to increase efficiency and digitalisation in sales

Profile and Skills

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Sales or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in (Sales) Controlling or a similar function
  • In-depth knowledge in MS Excel as well as experience with BI-tools, ERP and CRM systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with high accuracy and quality awareness
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
