As a Sales Engineer for Strategic Enterprise Accounts, you will play a critical role in helping some of the largest and most complex organizations design and implement modern security architectures. Working closely with sales leadership, security architects, and executive stakeholders, you will translate business challenges into robust, scalable cybersecurity solutions.

This role goes far beyond product demonstrations. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through architectural decisions across hybrid networks, cloud environments, and modern AI-driven infrastructures. You will help customers understand emerging threats and design security strategies that enable innovation while reducing risk.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Partner with strategic account teams to engage enterprise customers and understand their business, security, and architectural challenges
• Build trusted relationships with customer security teams, architects, and executive stakeholders

Solution Architecture

• Design and present end-to-end cybersecurity architectures tailored to complex enterprise environments
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions across network, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures

Technical Leadership

• Act as the primary technical advisor during the sales process
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and Proof-of-Concept engagements
• Guide customers toward best practices in cybersecurity architecture and risk mitigation

Opportunity Development

• Support strategic account planning and technical qualification of opportunities
• Respond to RFI/RFP processes and develop compelling technical proposals aligned with customer requirements

Thought Leadership

• Educate customers and partners on evolving cybersecurity threats, emerging technologies, and modern security architectures
• Represent Check Point in technical discussions, industry events, and customer forums

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Engage with modern technologies including cloud-native architectures, automation frameworks, and emerging AI-driven systems
• Understand how evolving technologies influence security architectures and customer risk models

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting experience within the IT or cybersecurity industry, ideally supporting enterprise or strategic accounts
• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Experience with security technologies such as network security, cloud security, identity, or threat prevention solutions
• Enterprise Architecture Understanding: Ability to discuss complex architectures with enterprise architects, security leaders, and CIO/CISO organizations
• Network & Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security architectures, and modern infrastructure environments
• Cloud Proficiency: Solid knowledge of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
• AI Awareness: General understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their impact on enterprise architectures is a plus
• AI Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or similar AI integration framework is considered a plus
• Software & Developer Affinity: Experience with APIs, automation, scripting, or software development practices is desirable
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to navigate complex customer environments
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and executive audiences
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in German (C2) and English
