Sales Manager DACH | Document Automation SaaS | €45–50k base + €15k variable (60–65k OTE) & Hybrid from Berlin

This is a hybrid role from Berlin, fluent/bilingual (C2) level of German is essential to be a successful applicant.

The platform helps finance, operations and back‑office teams digitise and streamline previously manual, painful processes.

With strong product–market fit in the DACH region and a healthy inbound engine, the company is now strengthening its commercial team to accelerate new ARR growth. You’ll be joining a small, senior sales organisation (Head of Sales + experienced AE) where your impact will be highly visible and your voice will matter.

Your Role as Junior Account Executive (DACH)

  • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to closed‑won: discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation and handover.
  • Work a hybrid inbound & outbound motion.
  • Convert warm inbound leads (approx. 160/month across the business) generated by marketing and partners.
  • Build your own pipeline with targeted outbound into mid‑market accounts.
  • Manage 3–5 opportunities per month, typically in the €800–2,500 MRR range, with 6–12 month sales cycles.
  • Run structured discovery to uncover process, workflow and automation challenges in finance, operations and back‑office teams.
  • Lead compelling product demos that clearly show how the platform streamlines document‑heavy workflows and delivers ROI.
  • Engage multiple stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Operations, IT, Management) and navigate multi‑threaded deals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and existing AE on pricing, deal strategy and forecasting.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing and Product to feedback market insights and help shape messaging and roadmap.

Who You Are:

You are a proactive, self‑driven seller with a strong hunter mentality who takes full ownership of your pipeline. You’re organised and structured , able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple long‑cycle deals while maintaining clean processes (incl. CRM). Personally, you’re hands‑on, coachable and solutions‑oriented, with strong social skills that help you build trust quickly and collaborate smoothly with others.

  • Experience: 1–2 years experience as an SDR/BDR or similar outbound‑focused role , ideally in B2B SaaS, and ready to step into a closing role.
  • Languages: German: Native/Bilingual (C2) / English: Professional working proficiency (B2/C1)
  • Location: Ability to be in the Berlin office at least twice per week.
