suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable assets.
Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewables on short-term electricity and balancing markets – while minimizing risks.

Your team : You'll join Jan (Mid Market BDM), Alishan (BDR), Daniel (CCO) - and soon also an Enterprise Sales Manager. Together, you'll be part of a commercial crew that values collaboration, ambition, and honest feedback.

We're a team of 45 people, combining a warm, supportive team culture with true startup drive. Following our successful Series A , we're expanding our commercial team in Hamburg and looking for a results-driven relationship builder to unlock the potential of Germany's mid market segment.

Quick Check: Is This for You?

  • Clients: German Mid market B2B (IPPs, Stadtwerke, project developers) – portfolios 40–100 MW, ACV €50–150k
  • KPIs: Close at least 15 complex projects per quarter; manage 6–12 month sales cycles, working with high-quality inbound leads
  • Profile: Proven B2B closer with deep experience in complex consultative sales; results-driven, proactive, able to navigate multi-stakeholder environments and sell value beyond price
  • Languages: Fluent German (clients), solid English (internal)
  • Location: You're based in or near Hamburg (hybrid setup; office presence expected, remote flexibility)

  • Own the full sales funnel: from discovery call and demo to closing multi-asset deals with mid market clients.
  • Identify decision-makers, develop account strategies, and lead complex negotiations through to signed contracts.
  • Consistently close at least 14 projects per quarter, growing our asset portfolio in renewables and batteries..
  • Represent suena at industry events and position yourself as a thought leader in energy tech
  • Contribute your experience and market insights to strengthen our sales processes and client journey
  • Use digital tools (Hubspot, Notion, MS Office) for clean pipeline management and fast collaboration.

  • Proven B2B closing expertise in complex, consultative environments
  • Skilled in managing long sales cycles and navigating multi-stakeholder negotiations through to contract signature
  • Results-driven, proactive, and persuasive - able to sell strategic value beyond just price
  • Comfortable working with price-sensitive, well-informed clients
  • Fluent in German (client-facing) and comfortable in English (internal)
  • Confident user of digital sales tools (HubSpot, Notion, MS Office); CRM discipline comes naturally, energy sector know-how is a plus
  • Growth mindset, proactive, and ready to shape suena's commercial future
