SAP EWM Freelance Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Munich (On-site 5 days/week)

Contract: Freelance

Day Rate: Happy to discuss rate subject to experience

Project Overview

You will support a specialised SAP Supply Chain environment delivering modern, business-critical warehouse and logistics solutions within S/4HANA landscapes.

The focus of the engagement is on the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP EWM use cases , working closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable solutions in a fast-paced project setting.

This is a hands‑on delivery role within a collaborative team, offering strong project visibility and immediate impact.

Scope of Work

End-to-end support of SAP EWM implementations (embedded or decentralised)
Design and optimisation of warehouse management processes across inbound, putaway, picking, shipping, and inventory
Translation of business requirements into scalable SAP solutions
Integration of SAP EWM with adjacent SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, TM) and external systems
Support of workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder alignment
Troubleshooting and resolution of technical and process-related issues
Contribution to testing phases (SIT, UAT) and go-live readiness

Your Profile

You bring proven experience in SAP EWM consulting , ideally across multiple project environments.

You have a strong understanding of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain processes , combined with hands‑on configuration experience.

You are comfortable working independently within project teams and contributing to client‑facing discussions and workshops .

German language skills at C1 level are essential , with good English communication skills.

You are available to work on‑site in Munich (5 days per week) for the duration of the contract.

Nice to Have

Experience within S/4HANA environments
Exposure to integrations (IDocs, APIs, interfaces)
Experience with RF, Fiori, or warehouse automation topics
