SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d) - ABAP AI Project Management Support

What you’ll build
- Support the Project and Product Managers in planning and coordinating activities (timelines, dependencies, and follow‑ups)
- Track action items and support status reporting across workstreams
- Help collect, structure, and document requirements and inputs from stakeholders (e.g., notes, summaries, and backlog items)
- Prepare and support meetings and workshops (agenda support, minutes, action items, and follow‑up communication)
- Maintain project documentation (e.g., wiki pages, decision logs, and short communication updates)
- Create clear status summaries and prepare slide decks/presentations for leadership (e.g., progress, key milestones, risks, and next steps)
- Collaborate with cross‑team partners to align information and support smooth communication across the ABAP platform
What you’ll bring
- Student (f/m/d) enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and reliability in tracking tasks, timelines, and action items
- Very good communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders (developers, architects, project/product management)
- Presentation skills: able to prepare concise slides and written updates for management/leadership
- Tooling mindset: comfortable with MS PowerPoint/Excel; experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) is a plus
- Interest in GenAI topics and modern software development platforms (knowledge of ABAP/SAP is a plus, not a must)
- Language skills: very good English; German is a plus
- Working from Walldorf is required. You are expected to come to the office 3 days per week. If you are applying from outside the area, please mention your relocation plans or preferences in your CV (relocation costs are not reimbursed by the manager/employer)
Where you belong
We are the central team for GenAI on the ABAP platform. We work in close collaboration with other customer stories and areas, including RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), AI‑based Custom Code Management, Pro Code, Exploit HANA, UA, and ABAP Language. The development of AI‑based use cases is owned by these customer stories and areas:
- Defining the overall GenAI strategy for the ABAP platform
- Prioritizing top‑level use cases based on the needs of interested parties
- Channeling top‑level requirements
- Providing common infrastructure and frameworks for GenAI usage in ABAP via the ABAP AI SDK
- Customer story is responsible for:
- Reporting the current status of all activities around GenAI in ABAP
