SAP Senior QA Engineer (gn) - S/4HANA Public Cloud

We are looking for a Senior SAP QA Engineer with proven hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Finance & Logistics). SAP experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.

As our SAP QA Engineer, you’ll own the quality assurance lifecycle for our S/4HANA Public Cloud environment — from defining test strategies to executing end‑to‑end tests, building automation, and ensuring that every release meets business‑critical standards. You’ll operate at the intersection of Finance, Logistics, Product, and Engineering, and collaborate with QA peers across other value streams to raise the overall quality bar across our SAP and non‑SAP platforms.

Your mission

• You design and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for our SAP S/4HANA Finance and Logistics domains — covering both manual validation and test automation.
• You plan, design, and execute end‑to‑end (E2E) and user acceptance tests (UAT) for business‑critical Finance and Logistics processes across SAP and connected systems.
• You translate Finance and Logistics requirements into testable acceptance criteria and ensure full traceability in Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
• You build and maintain automated regression and integration tests using tools like Tricentis Tosca, SAP CBTA, Worksoft, or Selenium.
• You integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and deliver clear, actionable QA reporting.
• You validate key cross‑domain flows, including Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), and Logistics execution scenarios.
• You collaborate with Product Owners, Finance & Logistics experts, and Developers to define quality gates, manage defects, and ensure release readiness.
• You connect with QA Engineers across teams to align standards, share automation approaches, and evolve our QA framework.
• You continuously improve test coverage, documentation, and overall release quality through metrics and feedback loops.
• You champion a shift‑left testing mindset — embedding quality early in the SAP delivery cycle.

Experience & Skills

• You have 3+ years of experience in SAP QA, testing, or test automation — ideally with S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• You have a strong understanding of Finance (FI/CO) and Logistics processes (e.g., MM, SD, or related value streams) and their cross‑domain integrations.
• You bring proven experience with E2E testing and UAT execution in enterprise environments.
• You have hands‑on experience with test automation tools such as Tosca, CBTA, Worksoft, or Selenium.
• You are familiar with CI/CD environments and integrating QA into pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• You are skilled in test management tools such as Jira, Xray, Confluence, and optionally SAP Solution Manager.
• You are an analytical thinker with a structured, detail‑driven, and proactive mindset.
• You are a strong communicator capable of bridging business and technical perspectives.
• You are fluent in English (C1) and German (C1).
