Responsibilities

• Design, specification, execution and documentation of software tests, considering processes, methods and tools.
• Planning and controlling the execution of system integration tests, test automation and hand‑over test assignments.
• Management and documentation of test cases.
• Coaching and consulting test teams in implementing automated tests and creating test scripts.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of agile testing methods, estimation, design, execution, design, and procedures (according to ISTQB) and reviews.
• Experience with test concepts and methods (black‑box, white‑box, exploratory testing), creating test specifications, and conducting functional acceptance tests and interface tests.
• Good knowledge in developing automated software tests, testing web and REST services, and planning, building, and maintaining test data.
• In‑depth knowledge of defect management (e.g., with JIRA), configuration management (SVN, GIT, …), and tools such as JMeter, JUnit, Cucumber, soapUI, Jasmine, Karma, and Selenium.
