Senior AI Automation Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer who can design and build AI-powered automations and agents for real business workflows.

You will work on building systems that connect LLMs, company data, APIs, and workflow tools to automate processes such as onboarding, knowledge retrieval, document processing, and operational workflows.

This role combines AI engineering, automation, integrations, and product thinking .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build AI-powered workflow automations and AI agents
• Connect LLMs with company data sources using RAG
• Develop integrations with APIs and enterprise systems
• Design and maintain automation pipelines (full-stack and low-code)
• Build systems that combine AI reasoning with real actions
• Work with structured and unstructured data sources
• Prototype and deploy new AI-powered features quickly
• Collaborate on architecture and product design

REQUIREMENTS

• Senior profile with strong problem-solving and engineering mindset
• Experience with APIs, automation, and backend development
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, and RAG systems
• Ability to quickly prototype and ship solutions
• Comfortable working in a startup environment
• English and German proficiency
• Berlin based.

Nice to have

• Experience with n8n, LangChain, or similar frameworks
• Experience building AI workflows and agents
• Experience with Vector DB, RAG frameworks
• Experience with Docker, cloud environments
• Experience integrating enterprise systems
