About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled (Senior) BISpecialist to join our Finance team in Munich or Istanbul. This role will beinstrumental in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights,driving data-informed decision-making not only within Finance but also acrosskey departments including Data Operations, Product, and IT. The ideal candidatewill be adept at leveraging Power BI for advanced visualization and analysis,with a keen interest in exploring and implementing innovative AI tools toenhance our data presentation capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintaininteractive dashboards and reports in Power BI, primarily focusing on financialperformance, KPIs, and operational metrics, utilizing advanced DAX measures todeliver highly dynamic and accurate insights
• Architect, optimize, and governcomplex Excel-based financial models leveraging Power Query (and Power Pivotwhere applicable), ensuring robust data integrity, scalability, superiorperformance, rapid refresh capabilities, and intuitive usability for criticaldaily operational and strategic planning
• Apply foundational T-SQL skills (nice-to-have) to query,validate, and transform data directly from relational databases when required,supporting seamless integration into BI workflows
• Visualize and analyze largefinancial datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities forimprovement, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders
• Serve as a primary strategic partnerto the Head of Finance, Controller, and Finance Manager, proactively advisingon financial reporting best practices, leading the evolution of sophisticatedforecasting models, and providing critical analytical support for strategicplanning and long-range organizational goals
• Provide BI support and analyticalexpertise to other departments, including Data Operations, Product, and IT,tailoring solutions to their specific data needs, ensuring data accuracy andtimely availability
• Proactively identify and explore newdata sources and integration methods to enrich our analytical capabilities. Developand maintain project-specific dashboards, including automation of dataextraction from Jira into Power BI, enabling daily monitoring and invoicingsupport
• Lead the research, evaluation, andimplementation of cutting-edge AI toolsand techniques for advanced datavisualization, predictive analytics, and insight generation, proposing anddriving innovative solutions that create significant business value

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience as aBusiness Intelligence Analyst or Specialist, ideally with strong exposure to financial data and reporting
• Proven, hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining dashboards andreports using Microsoft Power BI
• Strong experience working with diverse and complex data sources ,including advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query; Power Pivot is a plus)
• Practical experience working with Jira and familiarity with ERP and/or CRM systems (e.g. Zoho or similar platforms)
• Solid ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify key insights,trends, and anomalies, and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations
• Proven capability to communicate analytical findings with executive-level clarity andinfluence
• Proficiencyin SQL for extracting, querying,validating, and manipulating data from relational databases (highly desirable)
• A genuine interest in AI concepts ,particularly as they relate to data visualization, advanced analytics, andinsight generation
• Strong strategic and analytical problem-solving skills, combined with a highlevel of attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiativesindependently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced,cross-functional environment
• Fluency in English (written andspoken) is mandatory; German language skills are a plus
