RobCo

(Senior) Field Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

About the Role At RobCo

We develop AI-powered robotic systems that make industrial processes more autonomous, efficient, and scalable. Our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combines modular industrial hardware with physical AI, enabling rapid deployment and continuous optimization in real production environments.

With locations in Munich, San Francisco, and Austin, and backed by leading investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation, and Sequoia, we are working to redefine industrial automation.

To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious (Senior) Field Solutions Engineer (m/f/d) to help us establish RobCo as Europe’s leading provider of automation solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • On-Site Commissioning: Install and commission our automation solutions directly at customer locations, seamlessly integrating them into existing processes, and traveling throughout Germany to tackle technical challenges on-site.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and document customer projects from the initial concept idea to successful commissioning.
  • Customer Orientation: Understand the specific requirements of our customers and translate these into simple, robust automation solutions.
  • Customer Support: Carry out the setup of automation systems on‑site at customer locations, including training and final acceptance, and assist with commissioning and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Documentation: Create system documentation, operating manuals, and test protocols.
  • Construction Work: Be responsible for the 3D printing of components according to specified drawings.
  • Technological Innovation: Provide continuous feedback to our hardware and software teams, contributing to the improvement of our robotic technology.
  • Development and Testing: In our robotics laboratory in Munich, conduct tests and prototype new solutions and actively work on advancing our technologies.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Technical education/degree related to automation technology, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Enjoyment of regular travel for commissioning and customer support.
  • Some experience in the commissioning of automation solutions or comparably complex products.
  • Motivation by the success of our customers.
  • Pragmatic problem‑solving skills, adhering to existing standards or initiating new guidelines.
  • Collaboration with other functions such as sales and supply chain.
  • Structured work style and clear, understandable knowledge documentation.
  • Constructive reflection on feedback and implementation into improvements.
  • Good German and English language skills.

Why join RobCo?

  • Develop modular, software‑defined robotics solutions with us that set new standards in automation.
  • Help build robots equipped with state‑of‑the‑art AI that perceive their environment, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions in real time.
  • Take on responsibility from day one, drive your own projects, and see the direct impact of your work.
  • Benefit from flat hierarchies, open communication, and regular 360° feedback to support professional and personal development.
  • Work across Germany in over 7,200 studios with our subsidized Wellpass membership.
  • Enjoy flexible working hours, a modern office, and—depending on the role—the option to work from home.
  • Participate in regular team events from relaxed beer & pizza nights to shared experiences on ski trips or at Oktoberfest.

At RobCo, applicants are selected regardless of ethnic origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation. All decisions throughout the recruitment process are based solely on applicants’ qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience, as well as relevant business requirements.
