Purpose of the job

The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for overseeing key finance operations with a strong focus on accounts payable, supplier management, and working capital control. The role ensures accurate financial processing, effective cash and contract management, and compliance with internal controls while supporting customer and stakeholder queries.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and supplier relationships, ensuring timely invoice processing, accurate payments, and effective resolution of supplier queries.
• Administer and control petty cash transactions, maintaining proper documentation, reconciliations, and compliance with internal policies.
• Oversee supplier contract administration, ensuring adherence to agreed terms, renewal timelines, and regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Manage working capital activities, including accounts payable oversight and execution of bank transfers to support efficient cash flow management.
• Monitor and administer fixed deposit to ensure timely follow-up.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and retention monies, ensuring accurate accounting treatment and periodic reconciliations.
• Handle and resolve customer and stakeholder queries related to accounts, payments, and financial records in a timely and professional manner.
• Any other cognate duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications

• ACCA Level 2 / ongoing Level 3 or equivalent; good analytical skills

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in this field
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
